Workshop and Guesthouse PDF Print E-mail

The construction of the workshop by Lavington Women’s Association has provided a much needed space whereby the training in Maasai Beadwork, Computer Skills, tailoring and knitting can go on.

Construction of a guest House is famously known as Elli’s Guest house is one of our completed projects and this house provides accommodation to the volunteers who come to help out in Huruma Children's Home.

The is also another guest house in the same building where the Medical Clinic is:

Medical Clinic PDF Print E-mail

At Huruma Children's Home, some of our children are infected with HIV/AIDS and due to this, we saw the need to have a medical centre to take care of any ailments that may arise. Dr. Catherine Moran, a friend and a doctor by profession, opened the first small clinic at the Home, at small room within the workshop, but the need to have a bigger clinic was becoming bigger.

This led to the construction of the clinic which has been already wired with electricity and currently the construction of the septic tank is complete. This could not have been possible without the teamwork of you, our friends and partners.

The middle floor houses the Medical Clinic whereas the top floor houses another Guest House for our volunteers.
